HAMA Safe X100CD Paper shredder

The Hama Safe X100CD is a shredder designed to securely destroy personal data held in paper form, helping users meet the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Its cross-cut mechanism shreds up to 10 sheets of A4 paper (80 g/m²) at a time. It also handles CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray discs and plastic cards, making it suitable for home or office use.

An automatic start/stop function activates the cutting rollers as soon as material is fed in and switches them off when the job is finished. The reverse function is useful for clearing jams. The high-quality steel blades can also cope with staples. A safety interlock prevents the machine from starting if the head is not correctly positioned. The paper bin holds 15 litres, and a viewing window lets you check its fill level. The shredding speed is 2.0 m/min, with a maximum continuous running time of 2 minutes.
