Gustaf Skördeman - Geiger

Geiger. A single word whispered into the phone is enough for Agneta, who is saying goodbye to her grandchildren, to take out her pistol from its hiding place, press the barrel to her beloved husband's temple, and then pull the trigger. He's known this moment was coming for decades.
Detective Sara Nowak, who works in the morality police, has nothing to do with the murder officially, but after spending almost her entire childhood in the victim's home, her colleague asks for her help. At that time, he doesn't know that the investigation will change everything he knew about his childhood, and the mysterious word is only the first element of a complicated game that has been going on for half a century, which can set the whole world on fire.
Combining the best traditions of Scandinavian crime fiction and classic spy stories, Gustaf Skördeman's first book is an amazingly fast-paced thriller that keeps you in suspense until the last pages.
