Guinness World Records 2020

The latest, completely revised and updated edition of the record collection is here, packed with facts, figures and amazing stories. Each of them testifies to how fascinating the world we live in is, and encourages you to try to break a record yourself.
In 11 chapters, processing a lot of data, we present our record holders who do not know the impossible. Get to know...
- with the adventurers who visit every corner of our Earth on foot, swimming, on skis, flying or even climbing a mountain;
- with the cyborgs, who enhance their physical abilities with state-of-the-art technology;
- with the painters, sculptors, musicians and filmmakers who raised their art to a new level;
- with social media stars who have generated millions of views on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter;
- with the legendary athletes who are besieging higher and higher peaks.

But not only human achievements can set records! Over 24 pages, we deal with the record holders of the animal world, and we also present the most amazing sights of every continent of our Earth.
In addition to all this, you can read about 10 robots that are considered record-breakers in some way. We have an exciting new column called Close-up, in which our "digital artists" have placed some records in a completely unusual visual environment, be it the largest crocodile that ever lived, the richest man on Earth or the tallest living tree - the effect is guaranteed to be impressive!
