GOOBAY U/FTP CAT8.1 Connecting Cable Grey 5m 74349

This U/FTP patch cable in the CAT8.1 category connects network devices over a length of 5 metres and comes in grey. The conductor consists of seven twisted copper strands of 32 AWG, and the jacket is made of halogen-free LSZH-TPE. At roughly 3.8 mm in diameter, the cable is very flexible and slim, which makes it well suited to server cabinets where reduced cable weight and better airflow are important.

The maximum bandwidth is 2000 MHz with a characteristic impedance of 100 Ω. The aluminium-laminated foil shielding (PiMF) provides reliable protection against electromagnetic interference. The RJ-45 connectors (8P8C) have 3 μm gold-plated contacts and boots on both sides to protect against bending and latch damage.

The cable is suitable for 25/40GBASE-T Ethernet networks with transmission speeds of up to 40 Gbit/s. Termination follows the EIA/TIA-568 B standard. It is designed for outdoor use.
