This Goobay CAT8.1 S/FTP (PiMF) patch cable is designed for 25G and 40G Base-T Ethernet networks where reliable, high-speed data transfer is required. With a maximum bandwidth of 2,000 MHz (2 GHz), it fully supports 40-gigabit network connections.
The cable features double shielding: each wire pair is wrapped in metal foil using PiMF (Paare in Metall Folie) technology, and an external braided shield surrounds the whole cable. This minimises electromagnetic interference and crosstalk.
The white cable measures 50 cm and has an RJ-45 connector at each end. Its length is printed on the slim strain relief boot, making it easy to identify in racks or at the desk. According to its classification, the cable is also suitable for outdoor use.
