GL.INET Slate AX Wi-Fi 6 router GL-AXT1800

The GL.iNet Slate AX Wi-Fi 6 router (GL-AXT1800) is a compact dual-band router that delivers up to 1800 Mbps of wireless throughput with Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax). It suits home networks, remote work and travel, for example in hotels or holiday apartments where many devices connect at once. MU-MIMO, OFDMA and BSS Coloring serve several connections efficiently, which reduces network congestion and keeps connections stable.

The router supports OpenVPN and WireGuard® directly in its admin panel, so every connected device can be protected, including on public Wi-Fi networks. A 1.2 GHz Qualcomm IPQ6000 quad-core processor, 512 MB of RAM and 128 MB of NAND flash keep it running smoothly. Two Gigabit LAN ports, one Gigabit WAN port and a USB port add to its connectivity. The software is based on OpenWrt 23.05 and offers WPA3, DNS over HTTPS and DNS over TLS.
