Product description

The Girmi MC51 Caffè Preludio is a red espresso machine that works with both ground coffee and 44 mm ESE coffee pods, so you can choose the method that suits the moment. Ground coffee lets you pick your own blend and roast, while pods offer a quicker, tidier routine on busy mornings. A 20-bar ULKA pump provides the pressure for espresso extraction, and the machine is ready to use in about 30 seconds according to the manufacturer.

Day-to-day use is supported by a 1.5-litre water tank, a temperature display and six automatic programmes: espresso, double espresso, American coffee, steam, cleaning and cold brew. The manual steam wand lets you texture milk for cappuccino or latte-style drinks, and the hot water function is useful for tea or long coffee.

The package includes an aluminium portafilter arm and an ESE 44 mm adapter for pod use. Measuring 23 x 32 x 28 cm, it is a fairly compact machine, and its red finish adds a distinctive touch to the kitchen counter.
