In Quoridor, the goal of both players is to move from their own baseline to the opponent's baseline. Meanwhile, by inserting small tiles, we build walls, i.e. obstacles, in front of our opponent's piece to make it difficult for him to progress - but don't worry, there is always a way out! The only question is who can find the shortest route to the other side.

Quoridor Mini is a smaller, portable version of the original game that you can easily take with you on vacations and trips.

The purpose of the game:

The player who reaches the opposite baseline first wins.

Game rules for two or four players:

At the beginning of the game, the obstacles are placed in the compartments on the two edges of the board. The players have 10-10 obstacles for two players, and 5-5 obstacles for 4 players. Players move their pieces to the center of the baseline. The players draw lots to decide who starts the game. The player on his turn can choose to move his pawn or place an obstacle on the board. If the obstacle is gone, you have to move with the piece. You can move the dummy in any direction at the same time, avoiding obstacles.

Placement of obstacles:

Obstacles must always separate two squares each.
The purpose of the obstacles is to slow down the progress of the opponent, but they cannot be closed completely - an exit route must always be left open.

Confrontation:

If the two pieces are facing each other without an obstacle between them, the player on his turn can jump over his opponent's piece.
The game ends when a player has crossed over to any space on the opposite baseline.
