    The Gigabyte X870 A Tachyon ICE is a premium ATX motherboard for AMD AM5 processors, finished in white. Built on the AMD X870 chipset, it supports a wide range of current Ryzen 5000, 7000, 8000 and 9000 series CPUs, including the Raphael, Phoenix and Granite Ridge architectures.

    The board accommodates up to 128 GB of DDR5 memory and offers two PCIe x16 slots (one PCIe x16 and one PCIe x8). Storage is handled by four SATA connectors with RAID 0, 1 and 10 support. Audio is provided by a Realtek ALC1220 codec, while networking runs through a Realtek 5 GbE LAN chip.

    The BIOS uses a dual 256 Mbit flash AMI UEFI solution for reliable system startup. Measuring 275 × 305 mm in the E-ATX format, the motherboard is powered by a 24-pin ATX12V connector together with 2×8-pin auxiliary connectors.
