The Gigabyte B840M Gaming X WiFi6E is a Micro-ATX motherboard with an AM5 socket, built on the AMD B840 chipset. It supports AMD Ryzen 5, 7 and 9 processors, including the X3D variants, and accepts up to 256 GB of DDR5 memory across four slots. For expansion, it offers two PCIe x16 slots, four SATA3 ports and two internal USB 3.2 Gen 1 headers. RAID levels 0, 1, 5 and 10 are supported.

On board are a Realtek 2.5 GbE LAN port, Wi-Fi 6E wireless networking and Bluetooth, along with a Realtek audio codec. Two M.2 slots accommodate fast SSDs, and the UEFI AMI BIOS with 256 Mb Flash ROM handles system setup.

Measuring 244 x 244 mm and finished in a black and white design, the board suits compact gaming builds. It is compatible with Windows 10 and Windows 11.
