The GIGABYTE Gen4 4000E is an internal M.2 2280 SSD with 500 GB of storage capacity, connected via M.2 PCIe. It uses the fourth generation of the PCIe standard and, according to the manufacturer, reaches read speeds of up to 3600 MB/s and write speeds of up to 3000 MB/s. This makes it well suited as a fast system drive, shortening boot times and program load times, and for quickly transferring large files.
The storage is built on TLC NAND flash technology and is rated at 300 TBW (terabytes written). Its compact 2280 form factor allows straightforward installation in compatible laptops and desktop motherboards with a free M.2 slot. The drive weighs about 100 grams.
