The Getac ZX80-EX is a rugged industrial tablet with an 8-inch WUXGA touchscreen (1920 x 1200) and a Qualcomm Snapdragon QCS6490 processor with 12 GB of memory and 256 GB of storage. The device is certified to ATEX and IECEx Zone 2/22, so it can be used safely in potentially explosive environments. Its design meets the MIL-STD-810H standard and is built to withstand shocks, vibration and drops from 1.8 metres. According to the manufacturer, it is rated IP67 for protection against water and dust.

The display delivers 1000 nits of brightness, keeping the screen readable in strong sunlight. An active digitiser pen allows precise input. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2 and GPS, with optional 4G LTE or 5G. The front and rear cameras offer 8 MP and 16 MP, and the battery is replaceable.
