Gerard Way - Gabriel Bá - Az Esernyő Akadémia 3. - Feledés Hotel

In an inexplicable worldwide phenomenon, forty-seven special children are unexpectedly born to mothers who previously showed no signs of pregnancy. Millionaire inventor Reginald Hargreeves adopts seven of the children. When asked about the reason for this, he always simply answers: "To save the world." These seven children make up the Umbrella Academy, an unconventional family of superheroes with strange powers. At the age of ten, during their first adventure, they have to fight the Eiffel Tower, which has become a deadly weapon, controlled by the terrible zombie robot Gustave Eiffel. The Umbrella Academy, which disbanded almost a decade later and then reunited to save the world after the unexpected death of Hargreeves, is now falling apart again after a few years. Five works as an assassin, Kraken is secretly looking for big dogs, Rágalom is busy with the ruins of his marriage, the chubby Astrorac runs around the streets of Tokyo, Vanya is undergoing physical therapy after his headshot - and no one even wants to mention Séáns until the second chapter.
The slow and confident pace, the parade of humor and ideas, the playful division of the narration between text and images, Gabriel Bá's visual world rich in light and shadow, his expressive simplicity and the atmospheric colors of Dave Stuart make The Umbrella Academy one of the best comics of the decade.
The award-winning superhero series returns in its third volume, stranger and more exciting than ever.
The Umbrella Academy is a comic book by Gerard Way, the singer of My Chemical Romance, based on which a Netflix series was also created.
