Orwell's 1984 is published in a new translation!

Oceania is at constant war with one of the world's other two superpowers, in alliance with the other. Its foreign policy is determined by carefully prepared betrayals, its domestic policy is determined by oligarchic arbitrariness based on ignorance, suppression of the ability to think independently, falsification of the past, lies and fear. Its citizens are executors of Party and Big Brother propaganda who have lost their individuality, and live in a barren, ruined, miserable world after a devastating nuclear war. Their language is gradually emptied by erasing words or their multiple meanings, and their thoughts are guarded by the Thought Police. Still, there are rebels. Can Winston and Julia's forbidden love survive the ordeal? And common sense? The sane mind?
Orwell's classic dystopia of 1949 is now a concept; many of his word formations were included in the large English language interpretive dictionaries. And we use them because they still make sense today.
