Product description
The GARMIN Striker Cast is a compact fish finder that streams its sonar image wirelessly over Wi-Fi to your smartphone. Setup is simple: download the free app for Apple or Android devices, add your Striker Cast and start fishing. The display shows fish and other underwater objects clearly, and it also reports water temperature. It works in both fresh and salt water and can be used for ice fishing.
The sonar offers a traditional 2D mode and a jig mode suited to ice fishing. Sensitivity and range can be fine-tuned. Fish symbols show the position and depth of fish, making it easier to place your bait. QuickDraw Contours lets you use maps at 30 cm scale from the online community.
The IPX7 waterproof housing is lightweight and designed for use with line rated 9 kg or more. It switches on automatically when it enters the water and off when it is lifted out. According to the manufacturer, the internal USB-rechargeable battery runs for up to 10 hours between charges.
