GARMIN Descent T2 transmitter

The Garmin Descent T2 is a wireless transmitter that sends your cylinder pressure to a compatible Descent Mk3i dive computer on your wrist. It tracks tank pressure, remaining dive time and your individual air consumption, and shows the battery level of the transmitter. It is rated for depths of up to 200 metres.

Using SubWave™ sonar technology, the T2 lets divers exchange preset messages underwater over distances of up to 30 metres. It can also monitor the cylinder pressure and depth of up to eight dive partners within a 10-metre range. According to the manufacturer, the messaging feature requires a software update that is coming soon.

Setup uses a simplified pairing process over a wireless local network, which makes it easier to identify each diver's transmitter.
