The GT8HW-IH transmitter is an excellent choice for bass boats for which the encoder is intended to be installed inside the hull, under the fiberglass casing, not on the fart mirror, where cavitation can cause problems. The equipment requires a flat surface on the hull, which does not exceed 6 degrees. It performs particularly well for high -speed vessels, where it is important to maintain accurate depth measurement.

The 8 -pin transmitter uses a high bandwidth chirp conventional sonar, with a frequency range of 145-230 kHz and operates with 250 watts. It can also be used with the GT30-TM transmitter, with an adapter cable, to ensure depth measurement at high speed and scanning sonar function at lower traction speed.
