Gaál Mózes - HUN and MAGYAR MONDÁK

Gaál Mózes, the excellent writer born in Transylvania (1836–1936), introduces the Hun and Magyar tales with the following words: "Avatag writings, from long-ago times, which tell the stories of the Hun-Hungarian heroic age with chronic dryness... To paint your picture is long-ago times, which the torch of history does not shed light on for nothing, to put together the fragments with a fair hand and honest loyalty: this was my intention." The nearly fifty stories present Hungarian mythology by keeping the chronicles and gestures, but with the wings of the writer's freedom. It leads from the creation legends through the Huns and Adoms to the age of the conquest. Such sayings will be presented to the dear reader as: -and#9;the sword of God -and#9;the fate of the Warlord -and#9;Etele takes revenge -and#9;Csaba's journey -and#9;Emese's dream -and#9; #9;Árpád is the commander-in-chief -and#9;The holy bird of the Warlord, etc.
