The Freewell Genius Rig is a camera rig for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, designed for mobile content creators who want to get more from their smartphone for vlogging, live streaming and videos for YouTube or TikTok. The SnapClamp quick-release system holds the phone securely without tools. A magnetic slot for Freewell filters and a 17 mm thread for compatible lenses expand what you can shoot with.
The frame offers an 11 1/4" tripod thread and four cold shoes for attaching microphones, LED lights or viewfinders. The modular TriGenius and MonoGenius grips rotate through 360°, and the MonoGenius can be used as a monopod or as a selfie stick extending to 25 cm. A Bluetooth remote with a replaceable CR1632 battery starts and stops recording from up to 10 metres away.
The frame weighs 133 g and is made from a lightweight aluminium alloy with silicone parts, so it stays easy to carry. The package includes the frame, the TriGenius and MonoGenius grips, and the Bluetooth remote.
