The Freewell Genius Rig is a professional camera rig for the iPhone 17 Pro, designed for mobile content creators who want to extend what their smartphone can do. Its SnapClamp quick-release system secures the phone without tools, a magnetic slot takes Freewell filters, and a 17 mm thread accepts compatible lenses. The lightweight aluminium frame offers 11 1/4" threads and four cold shoes for accessories such as microphones or LED lights.
Two modular grips widen the range of shooting styles. The TriGenius works as an ergonomic handle and compact tripod, and its 360° rotating joint makes it easy to adjust the framing. The MonoGenius can be used as a mount, a monopod or a selfie stick extending to 25 cm. A Bluetooth remote with a replaceable CR1632 battery starts and stops recording from up to 10 metres away.
Weighing 573 g as a complete set, the rig stays manageable and easy to carry. The frame alone weighs 133 g, the TriGenius 239 g and the MonoGenius 201 g.
