The Carl – Coding Chameleon from FRANZIS is a hands-on robot kit that introduces children to the basics of electronics and programming. Children build the chameleon robot themselves, step by step, following the instructions with colourful illustrations.
The robot contains 2 motors, a colour sensor and an infrared sensor, which allow a range of different functions to be carried out. The sensor system lets the chameleon respond to its surroundings, much like a real animal.
The kit is recommended from the age of 8 and develops logical thinking, technical creativity and problem-solving skills. Assembly requires a small Phillips screwdriver and side cutting pliers.
