    Product description

    The Fischer PowerFast II is a 5.0 x 40 mm countersunk wood screw made of galvanised steel with a partial thread, supplied in a pack of 200. The head measures 10 mm in diameter and the drive is a PZ2 cross recess. It suits general timber construction, fixing components, panelling, and door and metal fittings.

    The special thread geometry of the PowerFast II series noticeably reduces driving time. The three-edged screw tip grips the material quickly and also pre-drills, while the shank milling ribs noticeably lower driving resistance.

    The screw is suitable for solid wood, veneered plywood (multiplex), hardwood (with pre-drilling), chipboard, OSB, plywood and softwood. Tested load values are also available when used with Fischer plugs such as DUOPOWER or UX.
