Product description
The Fischer PowerFast II chipboard screw, measuring 4.5 x 45 mm, is a fastener with a countersunk head and full thread. Its shank is galvanised steel, which provides excellent corrosion resistance. The TX 20 Torx drive allows secure and quick driving.
The raised thread height significantly reduces driving time. The three-wing tip bites into the material quickly and acts as a self-drilling point, while the geometry of the shank and core taper noticeably lowers driving resistance.
Typical uses include general timber connections, cladding, skirting board fixing, and door and metal fittings. The screw is suitable for wood, veneered plywood, hardwood (with pre-drilling), chipboard such as OSB, and softwood. The pack contains 50 screws.
