    Product description

    The Fischer Power-Fast II wood screw has a countersunk head and is made of galvanised steel, making it a reliable choice for fixing timber structures. It is driven with a TX 20 Torx internal hex recess. The screw measures 5 mm in diameter and 60 mm in length and has a partial thread.

    The raised thread pitch noticeably reduces the time needed to drive the screw in. The three-flute screw tip provides quick engagement and pre-cutting, while the shank cutting ribs, combined with the core drilling geometry, noticeably reduce driving resistance.

    Typical applications include fixing timber frameworks, clamping components and fitting door and metal fittings. It is suitable for solid wood, plywood such as multiplex, hardwood (with pilot holes), chipboard, OSB and softwood. Tested load values are available for Fischer plugs such as DUOPOWER and UX.
