Fekete István - Kele (2021)

Kele, the freshman, is injured and cannot go to Africa with the others. Terrified and suspicious, he sees enemies in everything and everyone, but he takes care of humans and slowly gets used to pets. It survives the winter, then spring and summer awaken its instincts. Kele's story is narrated to the reader by István Fekete, an intimate connoisseur of the natural world and village life. It tells the story of the encounter between wild animals and animals that have been tamed by humans since ancient times, and also shows that humans live as an integral part of nature as a whole in their village environment. The author's popular novel is now published in a renewed form by Móra Kiadó.
