Farkas Wellmann Éva - Magaddá rendeződni

I don't know if there is a contemporary poet who strives for perfection more than Éva Farkas Wellmann. He rarely writes, as they say: he only writes good poems. We are used to it, but it always surprises, shocks and upsets us. A virtuoso artist and precise engineer at the same time. He classicizes, yet is unusual and unmistakably individual. In his new book, he invites us to a more colorful and varied verse journey than ever before. We can explore serious topics in light verses: love, faith, metaphysics - and so much more. A kind of specific, acerbic, but sympathetic superiority - the way he sees the world - is the main spice of our poet, as well as the impressive elegance with which he controls the language and the form. Reading these poems, we immediately acknowledge: whatever the given age, there are selected ones who they perpetuate poetry and poetics that are valid at all times. János Dénes Orbán
