The ELO I-Series 5 is a 10.1-inch POS terminal in a fixed, rugged tablet design built for professional use at the checkout and in self-service setups. Its Full HD display, with a 1920 x 1200 resolution, has a glass-fronted projected capacitive (PCAP) touch panel that recognises up to ten touches at once, keeping operation comfortable during busy shifts.

Processing is handled by the eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon QCS6490, supported by 8 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The device runs Android 14 and, according to the manufacturer, can be upgraded to Android 18 later. The white housing is designed for touch operation and fits a modern counter.

Connectivity includes Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2, along with several USB ports: USB Type-C, USB 3.0 Type-A and four USB 2.0 ports for barcode scanners, receipt printers and card readers. Two 2 W speakers and optional PoE support complete the feature set.
