    Product description

    The ELEGOO Rapid PLA+ is a black 3D printing filament with a diameter of 1.75 mm, supplied as a 5 kg spool containing about 1660 metres of material. PLA+ is designed to be tougher than standard PLA: according to the manufacturer, it offers a tensile strength of at least 60 and an elongation of around 19 percent, compared with considerably lower figures for conventional PLA. Printed parts made from it are therefore intended to be stronger and less prone to damage.

    The filament is wound with a stated diameter tolerance of +/- 0.02 mm, which supports a consistent material flow and helps reduce tangling and nozzle clogs. The material melts quickly and evenly, which can contribute to clean print results. The manufacturer specifies print speeds of up to 600 mm/s.

    The spool is vacuum-sealed to protect the filament from moisture and dust. At 5 kg, it suits longer printing projects.
