The ELEGOO PLA-CF (polylactide doped with carbon fiber) filament combines the easy printability characteristic of PLA (polylactide - plant-derived, biodegradable plastic) with greater mechanical strength. The addition of carbon fiber increases the stiffness of the material and reduces shrinkage during cooling, resulting in greater dimensional accuracy. This type of material is well suited for technical components, housings and prototypes that need to be durable but lightweight.
