Full frame coverage
The Vespid2 series lenses have an image circle that covers full-frame, large camera sensors, including VistaVision.

Minimal distortion and aberration
All Vespid2 fixed lenses incorporate an aspherical element and retain the excellent aberration control, close focus performance, and minimal distortion and focus breathing of the original Vespid lens series.

NOTE: Vespid2 lenses do not support DZOFilm Koop rear mount filters.

Lightweight design
The relatively light-weight Vespid2 series lenses have a compact, extremely mobile design, ideal for gimbal, drone and handheld shooting.

Equality within the series
Each lens in the color-matched Vespid2 series features a number of uniform elements that allow for quick lens changes and adjustments. These include a common 80mm front outer diameter compatible with a variety of professional matte boxes, cine-style 0.8 MOD focus and aperture gears, and consistent lengths and weights. The extended 300° focus cylinder rotation enables precise focus adjustment, and the new coating on the lens housing reduces reflections.

Cooke /i technology
The Vespid 2 series transmits lens metadata in real time thanks to Cooke /i technology and a compatible camera. Useful metadata parameters for shooting dubbing, video effects, and post-production include focal length, aperture setting, and focal length.
Metadata is transmitted directly through the lens mount contacts or the LEMO connector, enabling the use of wireless lens control systems and virtual manufacturing platforms.
