The Dyson Airwrap™ uses a powerful digital motor that creates the Coanda effect and has intelligent temperature control that measures the temperature up to 40 times per second. This allows you to style your hair without fear of heat damage. You can style and dry your hair at the same time thanks to the moisture of the hair, the powerful air flow and the temperature that is always kept below 150°C.

Using the aerodynamic Coanda effect, the Dyson Airwrap id™ creates a continuous flow of air that creates vortices, attracting hair to the barrel and wrapping it around the curling barrel. The roller can rotate in both directions to create voluminous curls and waves.

The Dyson smoothing brush uses the Coanda effect to attract the bristles to the surface of the brush. This distributes the air along the hair strands – the same technique hairdressers use when drying.
