Dr. Eben Alexander, Ptolemy Tompkins - A mennyország felfedezése

Who are we really and what is our real mission?

The author of Heaven Exists has written this book in collaboration with sages of past ages, modern natural scientists, and ordinary people who, through deep spiritual experiences, have realized that heaven really exists and that we are, in fact, cosmic beings.

When Heaven Exists was published, some readers wrote to Dr. Eben Alexander that they thought his near-death experience was impossible. At the same time, many people wrote to him that his story was in line with their own experiences. This helped Dr. Alexander to realize that sharing his story would allow many to believe what our ancestors knew concretely: that life and the universe have a deeper meaning than our earthly existence.

Dr. Alexander met and corresponded with thousands of people who were affected by his story. He also delved into what the world's great religions and philosophers say about the soul surviving death. He was deeply surprised by how often these voices of the past corresponded with what he heard from the everyday characters of the present. In Exploring Heaven, he shares some of the stories people have told him and explores the connections between them and what our world's spiritual traditions say about the path of the soul.

Discovering Heaven shows how we have forgotten what we are finally beginning to realize: who we really are and what our true mission is.
