Product description
The collection of essays - either individual-voiced praises of some important contemporaries, or poets from the Kádár era who had a tragic fate, or a playful-serious imaginary processing of the relationship between Camus and the Hungarian '56, the fate of Tormay Cecil's oeuvre after 1945, or the depths of the Serbian national spirit or the revolution shows the 1956 experience of the barely a few-year-old generation: it tries to stay true to the great masters. "I regard the essay as a genre of public learning" - László Németh's now classic definition should still be the number one guide today: the essay is still today national and world-level phenomena, events, intellectual achievements and outstanding personalities - emphatically based on individual aspects and with highly original means - means a complex investigation, which with their spirituality help to think, evaluate and live. At least according to the creator's intention.
