2. Generation native vertical recording
Designed with a completely new horizontal plate, the RS 4 Pro enables second-generation native vertical recording for even greater efficiency. The cameraman can easily release the horizontal plate and fix it in a vertical position without any special tools, so you can easily switch to vertical recording.

Smooth balancing
The rolling axis now has double bearings, which allows for easier adjustment. All three axles feature a low-friction Teflon™ coating that ensures smooth balancing even when mounting heavy cameras. When changing cameras or lenses, you can use the fine-adjustment button on the tilt axis to move the camera forward or backward, so you can achieve precise, millimeter-accurate balancing. The top quick release plate has an adjustable position guide to prevent the camera from loosening or moving.

Automatic screen lock
The OLED touchscreen includes a new automatic screen lock feature. When the screen is locked, it displays the current gimbal and joystick modes in low brightness. This not only prevents accidental touches, but also saves battery power.

2nd generation automatic axle locks
Thanks to next-generation automatic axis locks, the DJI RS 4 Pro can quickly enter ready-to-use or sleep mode, which significantly improves the efficiency of recording, mode switching and storage. In addition, the axis locks have been improved, thanks to which they operate with even less backlash, which further reduces gimbal shake during shooting.

Excellent stability, exceptional standards
DJI RS 4 Pro increases motor torque by 20% on all three axes, allowing for greater power redundancy once balanced. This ensures that the stabilizer remains sensitive and accurate during tracking movements, even with heavy cameras or multiple accessories. Car Mount Mode – when it needs to be attached to a vehicle
The new Car Mount Mode optimizes the gimbal's stabilization algorithm based on vehicle vibration and wind resistance data, so it is able to take stable shots even in shaky conditions.
