    This Digitus USB 2.0 to RS232 adapter cable lets you connect legacy serial devices to a modern computer via USB. Its built-in FTDI FT232RNL chipset provides fast and reliable data transfer, suited to both industrial and IT environments. The baud rate is adjustable from 75 to 128,000 bps, and communication is full duplex.

    The cable works across platforms and is compatible with Windows 7 and later, macOS 10.15 and later, Linux and ChromeOS. Drivers are installed automatically on Windows and macOS. It follows the USB 2.0 standard and remains backward compatible with USB 1.1.

    Gold-plated contacts ensure good signal quality and protection against corrosion. The DB-9 connector can be secured to the serial device with screws. The 1.8 m cable has a black PVC jacket and features a USB Type-A male connector and a DB-9 male connector.
