This pre-assembled FTTX installation kit from DIGITUS is designed to connect a home to an optical fibre network. It includes a 50-metre, four-core single-mode (SM) fibre cable manufactured to the G657A2 standard. LC/APC connectors are already fitted to one end at the factory, so the installation inside the building can be completed quickly.

The open end of the cable can be pulled through conduit or routed directly to a distribution cabinet. The white ABS housing is surface-mounted and provides a tidy connection point for patch cables. The LC/APC connectors feature an integrated, fixed laser protection, and a sturdy pulling eye makes it easier to draw the cable through ducts.

All the components needed are included, so there is no need to source individual parts separately. The connection box simplifies connecting the router, and the drop cable can be run to the housing's connection point, where further extension and splicing work is possible.
