The DIGITUS FTTH drop cable is a single-mode fibre optic cable with four fibres, supplied in a 50-metre length. It is fitted with LC/APC connectors and has an outer diameter of 2.4 mm. The fibres comply with the G.657.A2 standard, which offers excellent bend insensitivity.
This makes the cable well suited to indoor FTTH (Fibre to the Home) installations, where tight bending radii may be needed. The single-mode design supports long-distance, low-attenuation data transmission.
The cable is intended for fibre connections in residential buildings, apartment blocks and offices. Its four fibres allow parallel links to be set up within a single cable, reducing installation work and the space required.
