The DIGITUS Fiber Optic patch cable DK-2922A-05-SCA-SX connects two SC/APC connectors over a 5-metre length, making it suitable for fibre optic links in networks. It is a simplex single-mode (SM) cable that complies with the G657.A02 standard and is intended for FTTH installations, industrial automation and corporate network applications.
The armouring protects the delicate fibre core from mechanical stress, pressure, bending and damage caused by rodents. Despite this protection, the cable remains flexible and light at around 190 grams, so it can be routed easily through tight spaces.
