The DIGITUS Fiber Optic patch cable links two network components across a fibre optic connection, fitted with LC/UPC connectors at both ends. It is a 100-metre duplex cable supplied pre-assembled, so it can be installed without further termination work. The connectors are male-to-male and the jacket is black.
The cable contains eight OS2 singlemode fibres with a 9/125 µm core and uses a halogen-free LSOH sheath. The UPC-polished connectors are designed for OS2 fibre quality, which suits network sections that need high bandwidth. Individual fibres are mechanically protected, and a measurement protocol is included with the cable.
It can be used for both indoor and outdoor installations. Pulling aids are fitted at both ends to help when routing the cable through conduits. The cable is manufactured in China.
