DIGITUS DS-55348 HDMI Fiber KVM IP Extender Set 4K/60Hz

The HDMI Fiber KVM Extender Set enables high-resolution AV signal transmission in 4K/60Hz (3840x2160p) resolution over long distances using optical cables. Both single-mode (SM) and multi-mode (MM) cables are supported. In the case of a point-to-point connection, signals can be transmitted without loss up to a distance of 40 km (single-mode) or 300 m (multi-mode). In addition, the device enables point-to-multipoint connection with the ability to distribute signals to up to 253 receivers (displays). Thanks to the support of 1G network switches and the use of the existing 1G infrastructure, signal transmission is possible over an unlimited distance. This is achieved by cascading, allowing for flexible expansion of the system. For projects with many displays, the expansion kit can be expanded with additional receivers (RX), for which additional receivers are sold separately (model: DS-55349). The system is compatible with LC and SC SFP modules, where the corresponding SFP modules are sold separately (LC single-mode (SM): DN-81002, LC multi-mode (MM): DN-81000). The possibility of using single-mode and multi-mode optical cables provides a high degree of flexibility in various application areas. Another outstanding feature of the signal amplifier is the KVM function on the receiver side, which allows you to connect a mouse and keyboard for direct control of the signal source. There is also a 3.5mm stereo jack for separate audio output to ensure optimal sound transmission.
