DIGITUS Gigabit PoE+ Extender uses advanced network cable and power management technology to extend the Ethernet signal up to 100 meters per unit (500 meters in total). The Extender is powered by PoE, so no additional power supply is required. This allows the device to be used even when power lines or outlets are not available. It can greatly increase the transmission distance and provide PoE service at the same time. For example, a perfect, cheap and time-saving solution for security cameras.
