    Product description

    The DIGITUS DN-93816-2 is a shielded CAT 8.1 keystone module, supplied as a pack of two. It is designed for structured cabling in patch panels or wall outlets, and its tool-free mounting allows quick installation. The female RJ-45 socket provides a shielded connection.

    According to the manufacturer, the module is suitable for Category 8.1 networks supporting 25/40GBASE-T in line with ISO/IEC 11801. It supports PoE, PoE+ and 4PPoE, so it can also be used to power Ethernet devices. The connector accepts 22/1 to 26/7 AWG cables.

    The housing is nickel-plated zinc die-cast, and the RJ-45 socket is made of UL 94V-0 rated ABS plastic. The contacts are gold-plated over nickel-plated phosphor bronze, and the shielding is nickel-plated bronze. A dust cap protects the connector when it is not in use. In a 483 mm (19-inch) 1U panel, up to 24 modules can be fitted side by side.
