This cordless impact wrench from DEWALT, with a 1/2-inch external square drive, is built for heavy-duty fastening work such as loosening and tightening wheel nuts on motor vehicles. It runs on an 18-volt POWERSTACK Li-Ion battery and is driven by a brushless motor.

A 3-speed gearbox and electronic control of speed and impact rate in three steps allow precise work. Maximum torque is 1632 Nm, no-load speed up to 2300 rpm and impact rate up to 1890 impacts per minute. Forward and reverse switching makes it easier to handle different fastening tasks.

The ergonomic rubberised grip provides a comfortable hold, while the built-in LED work light illuminates the work area even in poor lighting. The protection electronics monitor battery temperature and current draw and guard against deep discharge. The package includes a T-STAK box, two 18-volt 5Ah POWERSTACK batteries and a charger.
