The DEPOW portable EV charger is a three-phase unit designed to charge electric vehicles fitted with a Type 2 connector, delivering up to 11 kW from a 400 V supply. Charging current can be set to 6 A, 8 A, 10 A, 13 A or 16 A, so the charging parameters can be matched to what your electrical installation can handle. The 15-metre cable gives you more freedom in positioning the car relative to the power source, which is useful on a driveway or in a larger garage.

An LCD screen shows the parameters and current operating status, while LEDs indicate power, standby, charging and faults. The timed charging function lets you schedule the start of charging, for example to run overnight. The charger is suited to both indoor and outdoor use, with a control box rated IP66 and a Type 2 connector rated IP55.

Safety features include a 30 mA Type A RCD with 6 mA DC protection, along with protection against overload, overvoltage, undervoltage, earth fault current and short circuit. The unit also monitors earthing and temperature. It operates between -25 °C and 50 °C.
