The DENAFRIPS TERMINATOR 15th is a symmetrical desktop R-2R NOS DAC designed to process PCM signals up to 1536 kHz and DSD signals up to DSD1024. It is aimed at discerning audiophiles who want a clear, detailed and rich playback from their source material.

The D/A converter module and the R-2R ladder network are fully isolated from each other and connected only through the OCXO clock module. This layout is intended to reduce background noise and improve the signal-to-noise ratio.

Two OCXO clock oscillators housed in metal cans, running at 45.1584 MHz and 49.152 MHz, provide ultra-low phase noise and high accuracy. A redesigned power supply circuit delivers a constant current to the clocks to support their linearity and stability. The silver finish completes the look of this flagship source component for high-end audio systems.
