Product description
The Denafrips IRIS 15th is a digital-to-digital converter (DDC) that accepts digital audio over HDMI, optical or USB and outputs it via I2S or SPDIF. Built on a new FPGA architecture and high-precision clocking, it re-creates the digital signal to deliver clean, natural sound.

At its core is a custom FPGA-DSP processing engine that uses FIFO buffering and retiming to remove transmission jitter and timing errors. A USB module based on an STM32F466 ARM microcontroller provides compatibility with PC, Mac and Raspberry Pi systems, supported by femtosecond crystal oscillators.

The unit supports 24-bit / 768 kHz PCM and DSD512 formats. The housing is precision CNC-machined from anodised aluminium with a satin finish, improving vibration resistance and heat dissipation while giving the device an elegant silver appearance.
