Product description
The Denafrips Hermes 12th is a high-end digital-to-digital converter (DDC) that expands the digital connectivity of an audio system or computer while noticeably improving sound quality. It receives the incoming USB digital signal through a FIFO buffer, and a built-in femtosecond clock re-times it, reducing jitter to a minimum so that a clean signal reaches the DAC. Galvanic isolation shields the signal from electrical interference throughout the entire conversion process.

Power is supplied by a large 80 VA UP-OCC copper O-Core transformer and precision LDO voltage regulators. The Hermes 12th offers I2S and SPDIF outputs, supports 32-bit / 384 kHz PCM and DSD512, and works with a wide range of DACs available on the market.

The black unit weighs about 4 kg, giving it a solid build for home audio use.
