The DENAFRIPS GAIA 15th is a high-end digital-to-digital converter (DDC) that optimises signal transfer between digital sources and a DAC. Its main role is to stabilise the digital data stream, reduce timing errors (jitter) and broaden system compatibility.

A proprietary FPGA DSP architecture, a FIFO buffer and a high-precision OCXO clock provide precise signal handling, while the optically isolated digital inputs help keep the signal clean. Inputs include USB, coaxial, optical and AES, and outputs include coaxial, optical, dual AES/EBU and I²S.

The unit supports high-resolution PCM up to 768 kHz and DSD512. Stable power comes from an 80 VA toroidal transformer with UPOCC copper-coil windings. Its versatile connectivity lets it fit flexibly into complex digital audio setups.
