DELTA VISION R. A. Salvatore - Időtlen

In the depths of the Deep Dark, the destinies of two drow are intertwined: Zaknafein, the weapon master, and Jarlaxle, the master of intrigue. Their friendship and decisions will change Menzoberranzan forever—and create Drizzt Do'Urden's legacy.

The first volume of the Generations trilogy evokes the shadows of the past and the struggle of timeless heroes.

Centuries ago, in Menzoberranzan, the City of Spiders, a young weapons master gained a reputation far greater than his birth and house rank warranted. The talented Zaknafein Do'Urden quickly finds himself in the shadows of power: the bigger houses begin to pay attention, and the mother of one of them - Malice - decides to acquire him for herself.

In a strange twist of fate, the man is eventually brought to her by Jarlaxle - the drow who not only respects but also likes her. This is how the friendship between the two men began, and how a new legend was born: the relationship between Zaknafein and Malice gave birth to Drizzt Do'Urden, the drow who would later become the hero of the North.

The Timeless leads deep into the heart of the Deep Dark: this time Salvatore shows through the eyes of Zaknafein and Jarlaxle how Drizzt's destiny was formed before his birth.
The story of the old days comes alive again, while in the present, father and son Zaknafein and Drizzt find each other again to face the demons - be they real or the shadows within - once again.

Once again, Lolth, the Spider Queen, weaves treacherous plans, demonic powers emerge from the Deep Darkness, and the world of Faerûn drifts once again to the brink of chaos. The destinies of three drow—Zaknafein, Jarlaxle, and Drizzt—intertwine to face time, the past, and the inevitable together.

We recommend it to everyone who: likes the story of Drizzt Do'Urden and Zaknafein, is a fan of the shadowy, intrigue-filled world of the Forgotten Realms, likes dark, philosophical fantasy novels where heroic past and present meet, collects the works of R.A. Salvatore, or is now returning to the legendary city of the drow.
