After doing enough research on a particular type of weather, you could publish a study on it and then create a prototype that would help fix the extreme weather conditions caused by the experiments with the professor's faulty weather machine. By uncovering the problems, they were able to achieve a breakthrough, with the help of which humanity can change extreme weather once and for all, and you can receive awards, even a Nobel Prize for it!
